How long will it take to start uniform rental service?
The time frame varies depending on the size of your company. The length of time before your first delivery after setting up your account with our salesperson will be as follows:
· Non-uniform accounts – 1 week
· 1-10 employees in uniform – 2 weeks
· 11-50 employees in uniform – 3 weeks
· 51-100 employees in uniform – 4 weeks
· 100+ employees in uniform – 4+ weeks
Will I receive new or used garments?
West Michigan Uniform wants your employees to look great in their uniforms and that is why all new customers start with brand new uniforms. Any new employees who start later on will also receive new uniforms.
When garments are replaced for size changes or normal wear you may receive good used garments to replace them.
What if I did not turn in my uniforms before the weekly pick-up?
If you still have your soiled uniforms after the pick-up has been made you can drop them off at our main office anytime Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.

What should I do if I am missing a garment?
Because our service is our only contract, it is important to West Michigan Uniform that our customers are not missing any of their garments. Our CSR’s check your shelves/lockers each week when making delivery to make sure that no garments are in the wrong location.
If you are missing a garment, inform your CSR and he will work with you to find the missing garment.
Why am I missing a garment?
If you are missing any garments there are a few possible reasons:
1) The garments were not turned in before the last pick-up was made or maybe it was left at home and never turned in.
2) Someone else may have accidentally taken your garments.
3) The garments may have been placed in the wrong shelf/locker by mistake. Look at the surrounding storage spaces.
What should I do if I need a different size?
West Michigan Uniform wants our customers to be comfortable in their uniforms so we offer all size changes (other than sleeve length) free of charge.
Simply inform your CSR that you need a different size when he makes his weekly delivery or call our office at 616.392.9767. Size changes will be delivered within a week for standard sizes and styles.
Once the new size is delivered you just have to turn in your old garments that are being replaced in order to avoid any charges.
What should I do if my garment needs repair?
West Michigan Uniform inspects all of the garments regularly. You can also let us know if there is a garment that needs repair by attaching one of the red cards that are kept where your uniforms are stored. Simply write on the card the repair that needs to be done and it will be done by the next delivery.
Can I have long sleeve shirts in the winter and short sleeve in the summer?
A sleeve length change cannot be made seasonally. There are two options, however, for people who would like both long sleeve and short sleeve shirts.
1) You can ask for half long sleeve and half short sleeve when you start
2) You can rent both long sleeve and short sleeve for a small additional charge
Can I have pants in the winter and shorts in the summer?
You cannot switch back and forth between pants and shorts. However, we do offer shorts that you can purchase and turn them in to be cleaned instead of your pants at no extra charge.
How are employee vacations handled?
There are no credits for employees who are on vacation. Our prices are based on a 52 week billing period. Uniforms will be delivered as normal so that they will be at your company when the employee returns from vacation.
What should I do when a new employee is hired?
Inform your CSR immediately and he will use a sample to fit the employee to insure that the uniforms fit well. You can also have the new employee come to our main office Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm to be fitted.

What should I do when an employee quits or is terminated?
Inform your CSR immediately and give any garments the employee has to your CSR. You will have 4 weeks to turn in all of the missing uniforms. Any that are not turned in will be billed at that time. If your employee turns in all of their garments then there will be no charge. You can also call us at 616.392.9767 or email us at orders@wmuniform.com and we will inform the CSR.
What is this label on my uniforms for?
The label is used to sort rental garments and insure that they are delivered to the proper customer and proper employees at our customers. The labels give information such as product, size, stop number, and employee number.
